Here It Is

It's 04:30 and I'm wide awake. I've just had an amusing night at The Planet and I'm still pretty wired on whatever it is I have been drinking. I'm all out of sorts but feeling pretty good. I'm in a truthful mood and I want to spout. This is my blog so this is my stage. I want to get some heaviness off my chest and fling it in the direction of whoever reads this rather poor excuse for a web site. Web shite more like.

Firstly, Matt! Fuck your ex. No, don't. Ever. Move away. She is evil. You're better than that. You're a good man and I think very highly of you (whatever that is worth). Don't let some devil woman manipulate you into becoming something less than you are. Life is too short to be unsettled like that. I did try to restrain from telling the hapless nut-box what I really thought. At the end of the day I'll react in a way that suits you. I know you have to get on with the bastard but if there is ever a day you want me to fire her out of a cannon, let me know. I'd be happy doing that.

Finally. This hollow prick is giving up on history that doesn't really concern me. Its never been my problem. Even I am above such silliness.

Fuck, all serious and no comedy. I'm not going to have comments from the usual readers for this. You wouldn't get the good Blog Ho baring his soul like this. He's against such self indulgent blogs. Sorry, ladies and gentlemen. The booze has made me too truthful to ignore.

Goodnight each and all.

I did, in fact, complain about my lack of direction and how much my job bored me in spite of the more than adequate pay. Someone sent me an e-mail and told me I was a prick and to knock it off. I took a moment and cried...then laughed, then rage, then confusion and finally...stuck with confused/rage/acceptance.

Sorry to hear about the lady troubles, I would give you some sweet advice, but it would be shit. If it helps, I think you're cool personified.

Anna--Thanks for your neverending support. You'll have to come to The Planet with us next time. You'd love it. Lots of ass-shaking opportunities.

BlogHo--It does help. Thank you, mate.
Making friends across the pond. Who says the net is just for porn and celebrity bashing?

Where's The Planet? You ever go to The Civic in Wolves?

despiteme--Thanks as ever for your comments. It's always good to hear from you and I'm a big fan of your blog. I'm sure there will be many mad ramblings to come.

Milo2020--I got to Wolves most weekends. It's my drunken play area. The Planet is down the road from The Varsity. It's an old warehouse where they put on rock nights and local bands. It's a down and dirty kind of place filled with people with big hair and sexy goth chicks.
I usually go to the civic for Blast Off. Have you ever been there? It's one of those places that's either very good or just awful. I've stopped going because the music has become really droney. DJ is stuck in the Brit Pop era.

Oh my god. have I ever been there? I used to live near by and go to the Civic twice a week (cheeky monkey and blast off). Still go there when I come back to visit friends. You're spot on in it either being ace or total shit. now that I'm attached and not supposed to be pulling I have to cope with it by getting wrecked. I thought the planet closed down a while ago?

I thought so too but apparently it's more popular than Blast Off. Judging by the masses of people there on Saturday I'd have to agree. It was certainly more fun than Blast Off. More upbeat. One of the problems with B.O is that the DJ tends to follow a great, uplifting track with a song you'd listen to whilst lazing about at home. They can really kill the mood at times. I too often get wrecked (and I'm single) but too many cans and shots usually results in me falling asleep on the nearest table.
The Little Civic is a good place to go for drinks and get into the spirit before going to the civic. The DJ there is really good, he'll play anything. It's a shame they don't have more room to hold their own night because I often find after you get 'in the mood' there, B.O usually serves as an anti-climax.
I'm not a huge fan of Cheekys. It's really tense in there. More rough than it should be. There has been a scrap everytime I've been. I suppose cheesy doesn't mean cheerful. I do love Wolves.

To be honest I haven't been to cheeky monkey in a few years. Might give the planet a go next time I'm back. Maybe I'll see you there if you're wearing your soon to be despatched 'lifeiscock.com' badge.

haha. Yeah, that would be excellent. You'll have to let me know when you're going and we can have a few beverages. My mates like your site.
I'll certainly wear the badge.
After all, it's not just a website, it's a state of mind.
