From Nay to Yay

Ugh.

Recovering from another round of 'I hate me'

This happens when I have nothing to do and I start thinking too much. I make a joke of it now but it's horrible when it comes around. I have to hope it passes without too much hassle.

Stephanie is coming down to stay with Steve and I. We're seeing The Mighty Boosh tonight

(I remember when they were nothing and all this was fields etc etc)

We'll follow this up with *coughs* indie fun.

My resolve isn't strong. It's either that or play patty-cake in my room.

Congrats to Dan and his man.

Have a good freak-end, You etc

Keep it foolish

Love and Turtle Power!

Nicely put. My downers happen sometimes and there is nothing I can do about them until they go.
It's kind of like waiting for a rain cloud to pass over.
I have to stay on my own when it happens because I'm so rotten, mostly about myself.

I'm glad you're back :)

Enjoy the Boosh and have a tip-top-tastic weekend! :D

Garrr! (my best attempt at a pirate impression I'm afraid)

i've been in a bit of a pit of despair creatively for a while now. thankfully i've recently made friends that have really helped to pull me out. it's almost always friends that keep you going.

Turtle power? Is that related to ninjas? Sometimes I don't understand half of what you say ;)
Have a good freakend! Enjoy yourself!

I look forward to your detailed review of The Boosh. I really really want to go see them again as it was pure comedic fun.

And thanks for the congrats!

Cheer the fuck up immediately or I swear to god I'll have sex with you. And I'm not even a Project No.73er. Thats the new word for it. Unless they're JACKSONS.

Seriously though, I hate people when they say 'seriously though'. Sorry Dan. You're all Grumbleweeds to me.

Fork--I'll report on the Boosh and some adventures in celebrity when I regain the ability to type longer ramblings.
Dig the pirate impression, sir. ARRRG!

Trix--I've played patty cake quite a few times. Got the scrapes to prove it.

Indygirl--I was always michealangelo. I prefered Donatello. He had a purple band.

Maddy--That would be brilliant!

Kimbelina--Absolutely. My friends always pull me out of the funk which helps to be creative.

Devil Mood--Sometimes I don't even know what I'm saying.

Angel Jr--You too!!!!

Dan--Forthcoming, sir. Your good news cheered me up at work. I needed good news.

Maja--Bah? Chin up, sweetness. You're aces.

Ben--I'm cheered! I'm cheered!

Apparently a lot of people get the I-hate-mes. Sometimes you have to tell yourself to shut up, if you know what I mean. Or write a bad poem about it, that helps. Or tell your really competent, calm and together work colleagues all about it and have them a) remind you exactly why you're great and b) share all their own thoughts on self loathing and doubt. Really makes me smile to find out no one else smiles ever...

JVS--The 'I hate me' runs in my family. My Dad and brother get it sometimes. It's sad because we don't really have anything to be down about. In many ways, that makes it worse.

Andrew--I'm sure it was good. Thanks for stopping by.

Dan--That would be great fun. IF I'm ever in your neck of the woods, I will be sure to buy you both celebratory drinks.

Day--Very true. I'm not sure about me. I annoy myself a lot of the time.
