people sometimes ironically or not look back fondly on the career of Dire Straits and that saddens me a little. Actually, I have no opinion on Dire Straits but I don't like the way Colin Murray seems to bang on about them at any opportunity. hur hur, some people think they're dire, etc...
I've always liked them. It was good music to grow up with and, having listened to 'Brothers In Arms' the other day I felt compelled to write this blog post.
It saddens me that when the Killers cover one of their songs it's considered 'quirky' and 'ironic'
