The past couple of days have been tense and the future, our future, lies in the hands of a housing agency. Will we move into our much desired apartment in the city or will we, if declined, move out of the West Midlands forever?

We'll have more on this story when they get back to us....

(...Before 2010 would be just wonderful)

Camp Comedy

So V was fun if a little muddy. The field was churned into horrible icing that claimed the lives of one pairs of trainers and two pairs of jeans. Amen, boys. You will be missed.I did gain a nice jacket courtesy of Matt. You win some, you lose some... Now I can concentrate on styling myself as a mixture of Ryan Adams, Jarvis Cocker and Nicky Wire.
V had some lovely highlights, a mixture of fun and surprising moments. We saw a lot of bands but Iggy and The Stooges and Jarvis were my favourites. Mika put on a fun show and we had a ball watching his party madness. Turned me right around, it did and that's what a fest should be about; curiosity and allowing your ear to be converted to new sonics.Lily Allen was horrible. I was going to give her a go too (musically) but she is one obnoxious cow. Please everyone, buy her records so her fifteen minutes of fame will be over more quickly. What is the point of her? Her musicians were handy and jazzy but her banal, scrill cackle is plastered over it all, turning it into music for people who hate music.
There are a ton of talented female musicians out there; MIA, Fiest, Gemma Hayes etc which more intelligent messages and opinions so there really isn't a need for all of these half-talents clogging up the musical portaloo.
I'm no fan of Winehouse but at least she can SING. Whatever. It's just my opinion. It's another shame that it had to rain too. What a shitty summer this has been, weather wise. I want my money back, God. (Not that I believe in that stuff but you get my point. You don't? Nevermind.)
K.P and I came back from the mud bath to view flats. we saw an amazing one in Wolverhampton that rocked our world. It's PERFECT (Place, location..) but pricey from the outset (deposit, admin fees etc). After all of the up front fees and stuff, it should be smooth financial sailing. If only I could do overtime at my job or get a second one. Had I known that all of this was going to happen, I would have saved my money years ago. As I never imagined myself being with someone so amazing, let alone moving in with someone amazing, I never saved my money. Hindsight, eh?I'm off to try and think of a way to make quick, easy money. Maybe I could sell something; a kidney...myself?
Anything for her really.
Meeting with film people on Saturday again. I hope it's still all go.

Aloofus, Aloofus...

So, it’s 2018. I’m staring down the barrel of my 40’s but with the same goofy mindset I honed in my 20’s. Mentally, it doesn’t feel as bad a...
