i don't know how you could have gone this long w/o knowing who dan brown was.
i am impressed!
I heard the church is offended by the book and the film? Is it because it's such a crap book?
Oh if only it had been! The idea of Ian McKellen and Tom Hanks 8 Miling it about whether the Holy Grail is a bloodline or a nifty cup would've made my year :)
I saw it last night with Truman. It wasn't half as bad or as boring as I feared it might be. That said, i have no intention of ever seeing it again.
i can't quite agree w/ "accomplished" - the dialogue in the book was horrific! :(
Kimberlina, I think most thrillers have crappy prose and awful dialogue. Dan Brown's accomplishment is within that field. I'm not comparing him with serious literature because I don't think it is directly comparable ;-). So don't take it as a endorsement!!!
Im waiting for the TV remake "Dick And Dom In Da Vinci Code" personally...
Tom Hanks's head was massive in that flick, dont you think?
