It started with a text from my old house mate:
"You need to get yourself to Bar Edge. We'll buy your drinks"
How could I resist?
The evenings highlights included: Lotsa wine, Long Island Iced Teas, Some nasty banana flavour drink that we got for 40p, Myself and a girl called Shove trying to DJ, One of the number outing himself, walking back with hand-in-hand with a girl I used to know and the guy I used to live with, Everybody back to mine, tea, DRTN, bed.
That's pretty much what I did yesterday. Everything else is a blur.

Long Island Ice teas caused that blur. They always cause mine.
Those Long Island Ice Teas are Vicious, with a capital V. Everytime I've had them they've caught up with me like Freddy Kruger in some teen's dream in Nightmare on Elm Street. Except those teens didn't get collosal hang-overs, they died, rather than feeling like they're going to.

I remember having a social life that wasn't just comedy nights and restaurants!

And shamefully, regarding cjs question, Shovel was the twat from M-People, not Skunk Anansie. They had a proper drummer and not some gurning twat with bongos.
My Wednesday night included martinis and mojitos...man, did I pay for that yesterday.
