Imagine if babies weren't born as they are now.

Imagine if they had to be assembled like a Kinder-Egg toy.

The mother births out this kit and then a team of doctors go to work, assembling the child; screwing on the arms and legs and popping in the arms.

Then it would be like "TA-DA! It's a boy!"

***

I'm off, after a hard days grafting in my office, to hit the bars of my favourite town. I won't see any of you there but, BY GOD, I'll be thinking of you.

What happens when, in the rush of assembling Mother's pride and joy, the doctors accidentally pop the arm in the leg socket and the leg in the arm socket? ooops

Have fun tonight and send my best to your favourite town. :)

Oh gosh, that sounds like a film short waiting to happen. It could be a satire on how society tends to mold us after birth.

I'm imagining. And it hurts.

There would be shops where you could buy cool modifications, like bat wings or antlers.

I'd love it if my son had antlers and prehensile tail.

That is possibly the most terrifying thing I have ever heard. I may not sleep tonight now as a result.

*DRINKING* in *BARS*? Shocking, truly outrageous....

Kind of like Mr. Potato Head, only cuter? Or maybe the father births the kit? Men like to build things from little kits...certainly it would suit them

I'm going to stick with the stork brings 'em theory. thanks.

Can I have a kinder boy-girl and when it's older s/he can decide whether s/he wants to be a she or a he or a s/he.

I guess it's a girl when the kit is missing parts?
